30-year power warranty

The power guarantee determines the maximum degradation of the solar panel per year. Each year, the power output of a solar panel is allowed to decrease by a certain percentage. Glass-foil solar panels degrade in power faster than glass-glass solar panels. This is because weather influences have more effect on the solar cells of glass-foil solar panels. With glass-glass solar panels, this does not apply and the panels hardly deteriorate in power. This is important, because this way you benefit from an optimal return every year. According to warranty conditions, glass-foil solar panels are allowed to degrade twice as fast as glass-glass solar panels. Solarwatt provides a 30-year warranty on the linear power output of glass-glass solar panels. We guarantee a residual power of 90% after 30 years. The power guarantee on glass-film solar panels is 25 years with a residual power of 84.8%.

We guarantee that the Battery Flex home battery will still deliver a usable energy content of at least 80% after 10 years. In the unlikely event that something does happen to your home battery, you are covered by free all-risk insurance for a period of five years.  We also cover the costs of repair, de-installation, re-installation and transportation.
